
High temperature annealing furnace
A metal heat treatment process in which metal is rapidly heated to temperature, maintained for sufficient time, then cooled at a suitable rate (usually slow cooling, sometimes controlled cooling). The purpose is to soften, plasticity toughness of materials workpieces processed by casting, forging, welding cutting, homogenize chemical composition, remove residual stress, obtain expected physical properties. There are many kinds of annealing processes with different purposes, such as isothermal annealing, homogenization annealing, spheroidizing annealing, stress relief annealing, recrystallization annealing, stabilizing annealing, magnetic field annealing so on. 1. Metal tools lose their original hardness due to heating. 2. Heat the metal material workpiece to the temperature for a long time, then cool it slowly. Annealing can reduce the hardness brittleness of the metal increase the plasticity.
